The Crew Chronicles
Let’s give a big wave to another member of our crew! Meet…
What was your most memorable project?
Once we had to make a painstakingly accurate 3D implant video for some first-of-its-kind MedTech. It required a lot of research and some hands-on exploration during which no one was harmed. We got it right, and I learned so much. I learned so much, in fact, that a cardiologist listened to me tell the tale at a party and assumed I was a med student.
What makes UOTB unique?
At other agencies, I’ve seen a range of experience levels within the team. Because UOTB has such a senior-level team, conversations are more productive and projects move more efficiently. This allows for more bandwidth to elevate our work. Senior teams make EVERYTHING better.
What are you doing when you’re not at the beach?
I’m a loyal follower of the cult of Peloton. I frequently dress my dog up in silly outfits for long walks. And I enjoy going to rock, punk, alt, and metal concerts. I met my husband in a mosh pit.
Tell us more about that mosh pit.
After years of attending concerts and festivals with friends, I went to see Flogging Molly at Lollapalooza in 2011. One of my friends who was less experienced with rock shows got a little nervous and left me in the mosh pit alone. That is where I met a cute boy who was swiftly crowd surfed away from me. We reunited by accident later in the festival when we both wanted to see Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters – and we’ve been together ever since. And, yes, we did have a mosh pit at our wedding reception.
